What It Is

Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roofing is a closed-cell insulation that is sprayed onto a roof surface, typically at a thickness of 1–2 inches. The foam itself provides insulation and creates a seamless surface, but it is not waterproof on its own and must be protected.

To make the system weatherproof, a liquid-applied coating is installed over the foam. These coatings may be:
